Started in March of 2012, RST Security & Investigations, LLC, is owned and operated by Ramon Ortiz and Christopher Reahm, both retired New Jersey State Troopers with over twenty five (25) years of law enforcement service respectively.

About Us

Ramon Ortiz, Jr. was a Detective Sergeant First Class (DSFC) in the New Jersey State Police and has years of investigative experience. In the latter years of his career, DSFC Ortiz (Ret.) was a Supervisor in the Office of Professional Standards (Internal Affairs), where he was lauded for his investigative acumen and assigned some of the most high profile, complex, and sensitive internal investigations of the state police. Fluent in Spanish, DSFC Ortiz (Ret.) worked with a multitude of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies throughout his career, where his bilingual abilities were essential to the development and prosecution of criminal cases.

Christopher Reahm was a Captain in the New Jersey State Police, and served as the Deputy Director / Executive Officer of the “All Crimes, All Hazards, All Threats” fusion center for the State of New Jersey, the Regional Operations Intelligence Center. Since May, 2010, Capt. Reahm (Ret.) has possessed a Top Secret security clearance through the FBI. He has worked closely with the FBI and DHS liaisons to the fusion center as well as with numerous federal, state, and local entities in the development/sharing of homeland security issues, crime related information and intelligence across all levels of government.

Ramiro “Tito” Gonzalez is Director of Operations with over 15 years of experience managing numerous commercial, government, and private security accounts. He is a NRA Certified firearms instructor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, and in charge of Training.
